How to Make an Appointment

All consultations are by appointment. If you would like to request an appointment, please visit our Consulting Room.

Please make a separate appointment if anyone else in the family wishes to be seen.

You can also register for access to SystmOnline which allows you to book appointments. If you are already registered, please book an appointment with SystmOnline.

Routine Appointments

You may request an appointment with any of the doctors, usually within three or four working days but please give as much notice as possible. This enables us to give a much wider choice of times. We recommend you see the same doctor for the same problem and give only one problem per appointment.

We also have improved access appointments available for patients in Hellesdon.

Our improved access appointments are held at:

Roundwell Medical Practice
Dr Torrens Way,
Costessey
NR5 0GB

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

If your problem is urgent and you think you need urgent attention, then in the majority of cases you will be given an appointment to be seen by our nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner can undertake an initial assessment, take a medical history, carry out a physical examination, diagnose, treat, analyse test results and refer patients.

Practice Nurses

Our nurses offer appointments between 08:30-17:20, Monday to Friday. If you wish to see the nurse for more than one problem, please let us know so that you may be given a longer appointment.

Telephone Advice

If you wish to speak to a doctor, please telephone after morning surgery. The best approximate time is between 11:30-12:30. Our reception staff will be able to advise you and may ask you to telephone back if morning surgery has not finished.

Cancellations

Please inform us as soon as possible so that we may give your appointment to someone else.
