NEW: On Line Services
If you haven’t yet signed up for GP Online Services simply call into the practice with two forms of photo ID and proof of address. We can sign you up there and then. GP Online Services makes it easy to book appointments online, request repeat prescriptions and view some of your medical records. Find out more about this on www.nhs.uk/GPonlineservices
If you are not able to attend an appointment you have booked, for whatever reason, please let us know. We can then offer that appointment to someone else that needs it.
Water Cooler for Waiting Room
Over recent months patients have been responding by text following appointments and telling us how their experience was. A significant number have mentioned that a welcome addition to the waiting area would be a water dispenser. So we have now installed one.
We have a new ear syringing policy. If you feel your ears are blocked with wax and not painful you will be offered an ear assessment appointment with the Practice Nurse. They will check your ears and if they feel syringing is required will offer advice regarding softening agents to be used for 3 weeksThey will also discuss with you regarding the risks of this procedure and preventing the problem from recurring and advise if appropriate to then book for ear syringing. This policy is to reduce the amount of ear syringing that needs to be repeated due to inadequate preparation of the ears.
